Our Story
Author’s Glade started small, but through God’s blessing and a lot of hard work, it’s doing great!
Author’s Glade started only a few weeks after The Young Writer’s Retreat in 2025. Christian was sitting at his keyboard bouncing ideas around in his head when it struck him. He should start a publishing company! He was fresh off being inspired, and also finding out that there weren’t many reputable publishing companies byyoung writers for young writers. He entertained the idea only for awhile, but then put it in the back of his mind.
One day, he just decided to go for it. He wrote a lengthy email to his closest writer-friends and before the day was over, had half of them saying yes and trying to figure out how it would work.
In a few days, the other half also responded, many of them saying that they had similar ideas, but had no idea how to go about it.
With all these committed authors, it seemed a flame had been sparked.
This is Prince Lewis of Glades. A storytelling squirrel and brother to the dreadful Prince Hunter. He’s teamed up with Christian to take back the kingdom.
Once Christian had his artist, Author’s Glade began to form. The team had weekly calls, brainstormed together, pranked each other, debated, worked on projects, and set very lofty goals. It wasn’t uncommon to see or hear the phrase “Once we’re millionaires, we can ____.”
Through careful organization, excepting the odd hiccup along the way, we crafted our site, planned business calls, established an LLC, launched multiple social media accounts, and look at us now!
The fact that you’re on our site means we’ve done something right. Here at Author’s Glade, we hope that this is just the place that you needed to find some encouragement and motivation in your writing journey.
